If Deris Posadas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Efren Ulloa during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th minute, Efren Ulloa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Raúl Hidalgo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elias Ventura, 1-0. Isaac Mendoza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raúl Hidalgo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute, Olimpia FC's Giovani Rivero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Isaac Mendoza's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Elias Ventura skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deris Posadas in the 25th minute of play forced Wotton-under-Edge's goalkeeper Elias Ventura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wotton-under-Edge's Elias Ventura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deris Posadas in the 29th minute of play. Isaac Mendoza's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Elias Ventura skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Wotton-under-Edge's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Miguel Viscarra was slow to take the kick. During this time Olimpia FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Miguel Viscarra almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Wotton-under-Edge's Elias Ventura did a great save. After having played for 35 minutes, Deris Posadas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olimpia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deris Posadas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Deris Posadas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Ventura having to interfere. Wotton-under-Edge's Elias Ventura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Wotton-under-Edge from getting a goal against them. If Giovani Rivero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Giovani Rivero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jhonnatan Orobio made a kick off. Raúl Hidalgo took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elias Ventura. Elias Ventura dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. When Isaac Mendoza came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Olimpia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Mendoza couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes into the match, Deris Posadas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elias Ventura. Wotton-under-Edge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Deris Posadas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The audience was convinced that Isaac Mendoza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elias Ventura was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Raúl Hidalgo kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Olimpia FC's Paolo Hurtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efren Ulloa in the 71st minute of play. If Raúl Hidalgo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raúl Hidalgo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Ventura having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Deris Posadas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deris Posadas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Elias Ventura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Ventura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Mendoza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the game, Giovani Rivero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Elias Ventura was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Olimpia FC's Isaac Mendoza in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wotton-under-Edge's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee ended the match the Olimpia FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
