Salvador Ruiz kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Waldir Hinguanzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Shawn Padilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waldir Hinguanzo's late challenge caught a Ironville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Waldir Hinguanzo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ironville booed when Brus Laguna F.A. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Hinguanzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Hinguanzo in the 15th minute of play forced Ironville's goalkeeper Shawn Padilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ironville's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nelson Toledano was slow to take the kick. During this time Brus Laguna F.A.'s players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Misael Mejia heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Shawn Padilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Hinguanzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 20 played minutes Ironville got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Ruiz. If Waldir Hinguanzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Allan Villalobos notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Brus Laguna F.A.'s Adolfo Morales. Adolfo Morales was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Brus Laguna F.A.'s Adolfo Morales got control of the ball when Allan Villalobos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adolfo Morales was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Douglas Carranza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 35 minute of play. Brus Laguna F.A.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nelson Toledano in the 44th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ironville's goalie and right to Mauricio Rey. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ironville's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Douglas Carranza to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute of the game, Jose Guardado landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Oscar Lara fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ironville's protests and gave Oscar Lara a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Ironville:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Brus Laguna F.A.:s goal. 2-1 came through a penalty shot after 60 played minutes, when Brus Laguna F.A.:s Nelson Toledano calmly waited for Ironville:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. When Ironville's Allan Villalobos in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brus Laguna F.A.'s goalie prevented a goal. Shawn Padilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Guardado in the 69th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Nelson Toledano sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ironville's Shawn Padilla didn't even have to move. In the 75th minute, Waldir Hinguanzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Waldir Hinguanzo came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Brus Laguna F.A. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Waldir Hinguanzo couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute Douglas Carranza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Morales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldir Hinguanzo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 86th minute. Brus Laguna F.A.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Adolfo Morales came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ironville's Allan Villalobos. But to his dismay, Allan Villalobos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Nicolás Mayen's late challenge caught a Brus Laguna F.A.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolás Mayen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Ironville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolás Mayen to maneuver through the defense. Ironville's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
