If Edgardo Díaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Max Aguirrez charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Max Aguirrez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ramsey City's Max Aguirrez got a free kick in the 20th minute. After having played for 21 minutes, Allan Villalobos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ironville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Villalobos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erick Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Villalobos in the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to Ramsey City getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Edgardo Díaz hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Medina during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hugo Medina kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Erick Fernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Douglas Carranza went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Ironville booed when Ramsey City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amilcar Gutierrez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Allan Baptista notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ironville's Shawn Padilla. Shawn Padilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgardo Díaz to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ironville's zone, Edgardo Díaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shawn Padilla came out of the goal and Edgardo Díaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 played minutes Ramsey City got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Pineda. Ironville's Mario Olmedo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ramsey City. Erick Fernandez made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Allan Villalobos sent off a good shot on target. Allan Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Allan Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shawn Padilla having to interfere. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ramsey City's goalkeeper Erick Fernandez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Allan Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edgardo Díaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shawn Padilla having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Ramsey City got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Pacheco. Amilcar Gutierrez hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Erick Fernandez didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 95th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. The Ironville supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ironville would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
