A collision led to Sutton in Ashfield AFC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Rudy Paredes hit a great ball. Sutton in Ashfield AFC's Benji Quintanilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Ortiz in the 4th minute of play. Gilberto Pinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benji Quintanilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Gilberto Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilberto Pinho succeeded in the game's 17th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Alvaro Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. If Omar Mendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Sutton in Ashfield AFC's Julio Carrillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dagoberto Renderos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Eston's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Mendez came free, but Dagoberto Renderos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Eston was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shawn Granados to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute Julio Carrillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Renderos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dagoberto Renderos came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Sutton in Ashfield AFC's Omar Mendez. But to his dismay, Omar Mendez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 37 minutes into the match, Sutton in Ashfield AFC's Omar Mendez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dagoberto Renderos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Omar Mendez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Renderos having to interfere. Dagoberto Renderos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Carrillo in the 48th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

52 minutes into the match, Eston's goalkeeper Dagoberto Renderos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Mendez. Alvaro Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benji Quintanilla having to interfere. Julio Carrillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Omar Mendez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Carrillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Renderos having to interfere. Dagoberto Renderos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Carrillo in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 86thth minute of the game Alvaro Ortiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sutton in Ashfield AFC's Benji Quintanilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Sigaran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Benji Quintanilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute Alvaro Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benji Quintanilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Douglas Carrillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eston were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Sutton in Ashfield AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sarbelio Posadas took the corner. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
