Spectators: 6796 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1796, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Agustin Cabrera started the match with the kick off. Mariano Barragan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Alfredo Ancheta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Mariano Barragan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mevagissey's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Barragan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Ancheta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bridlington's Alfredo Ancheta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Erazo in the 9th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustin Cabrera in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Rivas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute, Yasir Fuentes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ivan Rivas, passed just outside the right post. With a little luck, Mevagissey's Ivan Rivas got control of the ball when Yasir Fuentes tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Erazo in the 23rd minute of play forced Bridlington's goalkeeper Alfredo Ancheta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 minutes, Mariano Barragan made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bridlington's Alfredo Ancheta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivan Rivas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yasir Fuentes in the 39th minute. Mevagissey's Ivan Rivas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Mevagissey from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Barragan to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Bridlington's Agustin Cabrera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Rivas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Yasir Fuentes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Bridlington's zone, Jairo Erazo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Ancheta came out of the goal and Jairo Erazo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mariano Barragan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Alfredo Ancheta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mevagissey's Jairo Erazo got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Mariano Barragan came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Mevagissey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Barragan couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute, Max Zapata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97thth minute of the game Mariano Barragan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bridlington's Alfredo Ancheta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
