Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Humberto Guevara made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Reach City's zone, Dennys Cortez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Palma came out of the goal and Dennys Cortez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Salguero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selvin Ribeiro in the 16th minute of play. Notting Hill Gate City's David Salguero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marvin Rico in the 18th minute of play. When Notting Hill Gate City's Humberto Guevara in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Reach City's goalie prevented a goal. David Salguero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolás Uranga, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Nicolás Uranga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. David Salguero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Anaya during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marvin Rico took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Salguero. David Salguero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Dennys Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Humberto Guevara kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Palma. That made the score 1-2 in the 43 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Humberto Guevara in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Palma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marvin Rico made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolás Uranga got free with David Salguero in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In a very dangerous position, a player in Reach City fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Notting Hill Gate City a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fidel Lara, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Reach City's Pedro Palma. 2-2. After having played for 65 minutes, Nicolás Uranga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reach City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolás Uranga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicolás Uranga struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. David Salguero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reach City. Reach City's Pedro Palma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Guevara in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennys Cortez in the 77th minute of play forced Reach City's goalkeeper Pedro Palma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Notting Hill Gate City's Humberto Guevara got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute Oscar Quintanilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Palma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reach City's Pedro Palma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennys Cortez in the 82nd minute of play. If Humberto Guevara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Palma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Guevara in the 89th minute of the match. David Salguero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolás Uranga in the 90th minute. Pedro Palma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Guevara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Reach City booed when Notting Hill Gate City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonso Vasquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Notting Hill Gate City walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
