Zoltán Makai might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eraldo Santana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zoltán Makai ran back to his position shaking his head. Jose Boianelli charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Boianelli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Herne Bay booed when Bewdley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Boianelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Okhoropir Cholokaev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Zelaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Okhoropir Cholokaev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josue Botello in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Josue Botello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Okhoropir Cholokaev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ladislao Zelaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Okhoropir Cholokaev having to interfere. Herne Bay's Eraldo Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caleb Ellis in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Herne Bay's goal looked a bit too open when Zoltán Makai came free, but Eraldo Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Ladislao Zelaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Okhoropir Cholokaev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Bewdley's goal looked a bit too open when Josue Botello came free, but Okhoropir Cholokaev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herne Bay's Josue Botello got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Cabrera got free with Eraldo Santana in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the match, Herne Bay's goal looked a bit too open when Caleb Ellis came free, but Eraldo Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ladislao Zelaya was the one to do the kick off. Shawn Posadas hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Josue Botello's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Okhoropir Cholokaev firmly grabbed it by the left post. Eraldo Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Boianelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Zoltán Makai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bewdley's Efren Flores got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eraldo Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Boianelli in the 67th minute of the match. Eraldo Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caleb Ellis in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Jose Boianelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Zoltán Makai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Caleb Ellis made a precise shot to the right of Eraldo Santana. Herne Bay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 85 minutes into the game, Waldir Prado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Herne Bay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bewdley the free kick. If Zoltán Makai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Caleb Ellis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eraldo Santana having to make a save. Eraldo Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Boianelli in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute of the match Juan Salguero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eraldo Santana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Caleb Ellis in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eraldo Santana saved Herne Bay from getting behind. There was no doubt that Bewdley were the better team. Bewdley's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
