Without hesitation aimed to the right of Felipe Rojas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Basingstoke FC's Felipe Rojas got control of the ball when Leonel Ancheta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Efren Barraza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Lozano in the 31st minute of play. The corner was taken by Ricardo Magaña in the 41st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel Ancheta during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, Nailsworth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Ancheta to maneuver through the defense. Efren Barraza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basingstoke FC. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amilcar Melendez made a kick off. Nailsworth's Efren Barraza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raúl Cruz in the 53rd minute of play. Esteban Coreas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Efren Barraza. Nailsworth's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Leonel Ancheta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felipe Rojas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Ancheta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Basingstoke FC defense, Amilcar Melendez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felipe Rojas. The Basingstoke FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felipe Rojas should have stopped the shot. If Amilcar Melendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 minutes, Amilcar Melendez made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Basingstoke FC's Felipe Rojas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Basingstoke FC's zone, Amilcar Melendez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Rojas came out of the goal and Amilcar Melendez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Basingstoke FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Cristian Cruz hit a great ball. In the 91st minute Raúl Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efren Barraza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Rojas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amilcar Melendez in the 93rd minute of the match. After having played for 96 minutes, Leonel Ancheta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nailsworth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Ancheta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Nailsworth had won after a very even match.
