Spectators: 6787 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcos Rey started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Redruth's Agustin Verdugo got a free kick in the 5th minute. After having played for 9 minutes, Fabio Gomez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rising Bridge FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Gomez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 12 minutes, Adolfo Guzman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 18th match minute, Redruth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Gamero to maneuver through the defense. Selvin Palencia took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexis Umanzor. Alexis Umanzor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. William Gamero hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. If Adolfo Guzman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Guzman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Alexander Coreas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Coreas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Rey in the 39th minute of the match. Alexis Umanzor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Navas in the 43rd minute of play. If Selvin Palencia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Enrique Navas struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Alexis Umanzor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Redruth. The Rising Bridge FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Redruth were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Enrique Navas made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Adolfo Guzman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rising Bridge FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Guzman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Coreas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Selvin Palencia scored 0-2 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexis Umanzor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Redruth's goalkeeper Alexander Coreas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adolfo Guzman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexander Coreas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Marcos Rey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Alexander Coreas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Coreas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Guzman in the 71st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Redruth's zone, Marcos Rey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Coreas came out of the goal and Marcos Rey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adolfo Guzman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Rising Bridge FC booed when Redruth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emerson Fuentes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Selvin Palencia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Redruth's supporters rose to their feet, but Selvin Palencia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexis Umanzor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
