Rene Lara helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Balsall Common AFC booed when Middleton on the Wold was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jairo Pineda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jairo Pineda got free in front of the goal in the 21st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ladislao Monzon was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Jhonnatan Machado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lorenzo Aguilar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. If Adolfo Salazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Middleton on the Wold's goalkeeper Lorenzo Aguilar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 37 minutes, Danilo Uranga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Middleton on the Wold and the Balsall Common AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Middleton on the Wold's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Guzman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Balsall Common AFC's Jaime Guzman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lorenzo Aguilar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Jhonnatan Machado made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Balsall Common AFC's Patricio Guerrero got a free kick in the 56th minute. Ladislao Monzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Lara in the 57th minute of the match. Patricio Guerrero kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Mauricio Machado hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd match minute, Balsall Common AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Salazar to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute Rene Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Monzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo Pineda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Middleton on the Wold fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauricio Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Aguilar having to interfere. If Rene Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rene Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ladislao Monzon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
