In the 30thth minute of the game Primitivo Berrueta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fleet FC's Deris Bustamante was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Primitivo Berrueta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tollesbury United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Primitivo Berrueta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fleet FC's Deris Bustamante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Ruiz in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Ruiz in the 35th minute of play forced Fleet FC's goalkeeper Deris Bustamante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Tollesbury United's Primitivo Berrueta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Deris Bustamante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 48thth minute of the game Edgardo Ruiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fleet FC's Deris Bustamante was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Tollesbury United were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgardo Ruiz was the one to do the kick off. Ladislao Arellano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamín Escobar in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ladislao Arellano saved Tollesbury United from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Leonel Zapata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fleet FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Zapata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ladislao Arellano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Benjamín Escobar fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fleet FC's protests and gave Benjamín Escobar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th match minute, Fleet FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamín Escobar to maneuver through the defense. If Edgardo Ruiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deris Bustamante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Ruiz in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 played minutes Fleet FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Villanueva. Primitivo Berrueta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Deris Bustamante skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 97thth minute of the game Leonel Zapata who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tollesbury United's Ladislao Arellano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fleet FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
