Victor Murgas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yasir Morales, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. With a little luck, Sudbury AFC's Victor Murgas got control of the ball when Edgar Melendez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Mauro Guevara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute Husbands Bosworth United were awarded a corner. Franklin Zapata went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Husbands Bosworth United's Ulises Hernández got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the game, one of Husbands Bosworth United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 41 minutes into the match, Sudbury AFC's goalkeeper Victor Murgas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Melendez. Edgar Melendez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Victor Murgas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ovidio Flamenco during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Ovidio Flamenco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilmer Rojas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efren Espindola in the 57th minute of the match. Amilcar Monzon charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Pablo Cetino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sudbury AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo Cetino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilmer Rojas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute, Pablo Cetino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Efren Espindola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilmer Rojas having to interfere. Wilmer Rojas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pablo Cetino went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Ulises Hernández had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yasir Morales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Victor Murgas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yasir Morales took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Murgas. Victor Murgas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sudbury AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
