Roberto Osorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Granados, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Shawn Carballo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, Wimborne City's goalkeeper Marvin Guardado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorino Zepeda. 16 minutes into the match, Stamford City's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Granados came free, but Roberto Osorio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudio Coreas kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Stamford City's Roberto Osorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shawn Carballo in the 20th minute of play. Gilberto Del Carmen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marvin Guardado having to make a save. 21 minutes into the game, Victorino Zepeda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Marvin Guardado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marvin Guardado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Zepeda, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. If Luis Granados had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Granados took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Osorio. Roberto Osorio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Victorino Zepeda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 44th minute, Gilberto Del Carmen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Shawn Carballo to strike the kick off in the second half. Luis Granados received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Roberto Osorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Roberto Osorio managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Wimborne City's Luis Granados fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Del Carmen in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marvin Guardado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had been going on for 68 minutes, Wimborne City's Ismael Peña got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Roberto Osorio. In the 71st match minute, Wimborne City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagoberto Chavez to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Zapata hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. A collision led to Stamford City getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Claudio Coreas hit a great ball. Shawn Carballo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Osorio having to interfere. Roberto Osorio made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Luis Granados sent off a good shot on target. After 89 minutes, Salvador Barraza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stamford City and the Wimborne City players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Stamford City getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Salvador Barraza hit a great ball. Shawn Carballo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Osorio having to interfere. Victorino Zepeda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
