Zelvin Magaña helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Castle Donington City getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Zelvin Magaña hit a great ball. After 19 minutes, Deris Valenzuela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sheffield AFC and the Castle Donington City players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Castle Donington City booed when Sheffield AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deris Valenzuela didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Armando Cortez fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Andrés Olmedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonso Uranga in the 22nd minute of the match. Angel Riveras short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Andrés Olmedo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ronald Larios didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Cortez went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Castle Donington City's Ronald Larios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Cortez in the 36th minute of play. After 36 minutes of play, Sheffield AFC's Armando Cortez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronald Larios was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Ronald Larios made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Armando Cortez sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes into the match, Sheffield AFC's Odir Huezo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronald Larios narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner led Castle Donington City's Cesar Campos to fire away a dangerous shot which Andrés Olmedo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Sheffield AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sheffield AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
