In the 24thth minute of the game David Palma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Exeter City's Josue Sifon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute, Franklin Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mario Arellano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Cruz having to interfere. Josue Sifon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo García in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Exeter City's goalkeeper Josue Sifon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arturo García. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, David Palma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bromyard City's supporters rose to their feet, but David Palma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for David Palma to strike the kick off in the second half. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Augusto Cruz as he didn't even see the shot coming. Josue Sifon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Palma in the 58th minute of the match. Josue Sifon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo García in the 61st minute of play. If Arturo García had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Palma in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josue Sifon saved Exeter City from getting behind. In the 65th minute, Zelvin Umanzor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Palma struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Josue Sifon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bromyard City. In the 69th minute Arturo García shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josue Sifon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Exeter City defense, David Palma kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Josue Sifon. The Exeter City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Josue Sifon should have stopped the shot. When Januario Llorente fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bromyard City's protests and gave Januario Llorente a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th match minute, Bromyard City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Januario Llorente to maneuver through the defense. If Carmelo Barrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Arellano in the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Arellano in the 96th minute of play forced Bromyard City's goalkeeper Augusto Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Bromyard City manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Exeter City to win.
