Tavistock United's Miguel Meza got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Gamero in the 7th minute of play forced Tavistock United's goalkeeper Amilcar Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Neston United getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Efrain Valenzuela hit a great ball. Adolfo Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Miguel Meza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Adolfo Sanchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Meza in the 30th minute of play forced Neston United's goalkeeper Eraldo Granados to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Tavistock United's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Gamero came free, but Amilcar Messias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolfo Sanchez in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eraldo Granados prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eraldo Granados made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Sanchez in the 35th minute of play. Miguel Meza struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Eraldo Granados didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tavistock United. Amilcar Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Gamero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Gamero made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Efrain Valenzuela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amilcar Messias was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Amilcar Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Valenzuela in the 62nd minute of the match. Efrain Valenzuela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Amilcar Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eraldo Granados was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Raúl Cabrera. Tavistock United's Amilcar Messias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Gamero in the 74th minute of play. Efrain Valenzuela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amilcar Messias having to interfere. In the 80th minute of the match Benjamín Umaña sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eraldo Granados skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Sanchez in the 81st minute of play forced Neston United's goalkeeper Eraldo Granados to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Neston United's Efrain Valenzuela in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tavistock United's goalie prevented a goal. Miguel Meza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonel Zaldaña's late challenge caught a Neston United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonel Zaldaña helped the player get up and apologised. Leonel Zaldaña kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Felipe Zaldaña sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tavistock United's Amilcar Messias didn't even have to move. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
