Marcos Lima was left in no man's land by his defense there! 14 minutes into the game, Alexander Najarro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stonehouse City the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Honduras United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Stonehouse City:s goal. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Stonehouse City. Sarbelio Díaz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marcos Lima. 0-3. After a rather tough play, Honduras United's Francisco Moreira got a free kick in the 19th minute. Jorge Hernández sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 minutes of play, Stonehouse City's Dagoberto Rivas made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Lima was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute, Shawn Larios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waldir Aguirrez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Baptista having to make a save. Wiktor Kaszubik struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Camilo Baptista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras United. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waldir Aguirrez in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camilo Baptista saved Stonehouse City from getting behind. If Amilcar Menjivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th match minute, Honduras United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amilcar Menjivar to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Waldir Aguirrez to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Honduras United got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Najarro. In the 54th minute of the match, Sarbelio Díaz sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Marcos Lima showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. When Edwin Flores came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Honduras United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edwin Flores couldn't finish the play. The Stonehouse City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Baptista should have stopped the shot. If Waldir Aguirrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camilo Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Camilo Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir Aguirrez in the 70th minute of the match. Honduras United's Wiktor Kaszubik got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Stonehouse City's zone, Waldir Aguirrez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Baptista came out of the goal and Waldir Aguirrez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Stonehouse City's Max Ayala got a free kick in the 84th minute. After 88 played minutes Stonehouse City got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Rivas. Dagoberto Rivas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcos Lima came out and tried to block the shot, but Dagoberto Rivas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 93rd minute.
