Seating: 1792, VIP seats: 0) Diego Noyola made the kick off and thus started the match. If Salvador Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute, Diego Noyola reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Franklin Barrera. The goal made the score 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Gillingham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Noyola came free, but Franklin Barrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24thth minute of the game Diego Noyola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gillingham FC's Franklin Barrera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Maidstone City's Salvador Prado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Franklin Barrera. That made the score 2-0 after 25 minutes of play. Franklin Barrera made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Salvador Prado sent off a good shot on target. Edwin Orellana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Humberto Salamanca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rony Nunes having to interfere. The supporters of Maidstone City booed when Gillingham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin Orellana didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Douglas Dubon to strike the kick off in the second half. Humberto Salamanca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Rony Nunes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Maidstone City's Rony Nunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Maidstone City from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Salvador Prado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franklin Barrera was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Salvador Prado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maidstone City's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Prado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franklin Barrera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 67 minutes into the match, Salvador Prado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franklin Barrera. Gillingham FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salvador Prado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. If Jonathan Guzman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Maidstone City's Salvador Prado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franklin Barrera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Douglas Dubon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Diego Noyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marvin Orellana charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marvin Orellana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes Maidstone City got a freekick which was hit by Marvin Orellana. Rony Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Dubon in the 90th minute of the match. Salvador Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Franklin Barrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
