Spectators: 6787 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 0) Mauro Nunes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Roberto Guerrero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Richard Padilla skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Todmorden's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Efren Guzman was slow to take the kick. During this time Sefton's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Alfredo Prado heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 17 minutes into the game, Will Alas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rudy Moreno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 19th match minute, Todmorden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo García to maneuver through the defense. Richard Padilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Nunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Todmorden's Abraham Chavez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rudy Moreno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Abraham Chavez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th match minute, Sefton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Peredes to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute Will Alas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudy Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29thth minute of the game Mauro Nunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Todmorden's Richard Padilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Richard Padilla came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Sefton's Orlando Larios. But to his dismay, Orlando Larios quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Will Alas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Abraham Chavez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rudy Moreno. Sefton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abraham Chavez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 40 minutes into the game, one of Todmorden:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Rudy Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Chavez in the 53rd minute of play. Orlando Larios might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard Padilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orlando Larios ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sefton's goalkeeper Rudy Moreno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carmelo Peredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Will Alas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Rudy Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Richard Padilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Nunes in the 71st minute of play. Mauro Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Padilla having to interfere. Will Alas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudy Moreno having to interfere. Abraham Chavez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudy Moreno having to interfere. Carmelo Peredes hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Will Alas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Rudy Moreno made a huge save. Rudy Moreno was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Abraham Chavez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abraham Chavez really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. The supporters of Sefton booed when Todmorden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orlando Larios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Richard Padilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Todmorden played a much better game than Sefton and deserved their victory. The Sefton players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
