An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Barraza in the 20th minute of play forced Old Clipstone's goalkeeper Zelvin Mora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Old Clipstone's zone, Daniel Vasquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zelvin Mora came out of the goal and Daniel Vasquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the match, Old Clipstone's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Barraza came free, but Zelvin Mora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Daniel Vasquez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Zelvin Mora, passed just outside the right post. With a little luck, Old Clipstone's Zelvin Mora got control of the ball when Salvador Barraza tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Old Clipstone fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Olimpia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
