If Leopoldo Aguirrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Primitivo Erazo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roberto Paz kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Marden's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Aguirrez came free, but Yasir Mendoza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Marden booed when Perton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Villanueva didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leopoldo Aguirrez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miguel Hinguanzo scored 1-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paolo Bustamante, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Miguel Hinguanzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd match minute, Marden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Will Galeas to maneuver through the defense. Leopoldo Aguirrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Yasir Mendoza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute of the match, Leopoldo Aguirrez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Yasir Mendoza saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. William Villanueva scored 1-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yasir Mendoza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Leopoldo Aguirrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
