With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolás Orozco in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Libardo Lima saved Micklefield from getting behind. Fidel Osorio might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo Bautista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fidel Osorio ran back to his position shaking his head. Misael Bentos charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. But to his dismay, Nicolás Orozco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2.
