Armando Zelaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Cortez having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Francisco Sandoval got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonel Bautista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ulises Pedrozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Francisco Sandoval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Francisco Sandoval dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ulises Pedrozo, 1-1. After 47 played minutes Tintagel United got a freekick which was hit by Omar Umanzor. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Ulises Pedrozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Bautista, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. With his leg Oswaldo Cortez managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Tintagel United's Armando Zelaya fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Sutton in Ashfield's Oswaldo Cortez got control of the ball when Armando Zelaya tried to sneak it across the goal line. It was beautiful to see Sutton in Ashfield's Daniel Ortiz in action when he in the 85th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Elias Pacheco hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match.
