In the 20th minute, Edgardo Pérez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cesar Arellano might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sarbelio Alvarado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cesar Arellano ran back to his position shaking his head. Westcliff on Sea AFC's Sarbelio Alvarado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Arellano in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Westcliff on Sea AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Arellano came free, but Sarbelio Alvarado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Uranga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fowey AFC's Odir Uranga got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 41 minutes, Odir Uranga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fowey AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Odir Uranga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute, William Henriquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sarbelio Alvarado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Odir Uranga, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arturo Uranga made a kick off. Cristian Sifon came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Westcliff on Sea AFC's Arturo Uranga. But to his dismay, Arturo Uranga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Cesar Arellano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. Fowey AFC's Orlando Navarro suffered a sore thigh after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 60 minutes into the game, Leonel Mejia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Westcliff on Sea AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fowey AFC the free kick. The supporters of Fowey AFC booed when Westcliff on Sea AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Mejia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Ramon Corrales sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Westcliff on Sea AFC's Sarbelio Alvarado didn't even have to move. Cristian Sifon came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Westcliff on Sea AFC's Arturo Uranga. But to his dismay, Arturo Uranga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Odir Uranga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesar Arellano's late challenge caught a Westcliff on Sea AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cesar Arellano helped the player get up and apologised. Cesar Arellano kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Arturo Uranga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Westcliff on Sea AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fowey AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
