After 21 played minutes Cheltenham United got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Guzman. In the 21st minute, Abraham Guzman fired away a free kick at goal. It was hit a tad too hard, and went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Coulsdon's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abraham Guzman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Cheltenham United's zone, Edgardo Rey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paolo Ribeiro came out of the goal and Edgardo Rey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Claudio Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paolo Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Botello in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Botello made a kick off. When Victor Giron came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Cheltenham United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Giron couldn't finish the play. Abraham Guzman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Christian Alvarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Guzman in the 62nd minute of play forced Coulsdon's goalkeeper Christian Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Ribeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abraham Guzman in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Alvarez saved Coulsdon from getting behind. In the 85th minute, Diego García hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Abraham Guzman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cheltenham United's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Guzman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Alvarez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Alferez in the 88th minute of play forced Coulsdon's goalkeeper Christian Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Alvarez came out of the goal and Agustin Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
