Spectators: 6814 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1814, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Angel Del Carmen hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Januario Melendez in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Selvin Moreno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th match minute, Derry Hill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Viscarra to maneuver through the defense. Pondersbridge's Cristian Alferez couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Derry Hill. If Guillermo Guerrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Derry Hill's Ricardo Rosales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Rosales in the 18th minute of play. Félix Calderon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selvin Moreno having to interfere. Guillermo Guerrero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute, Miguel Ayala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Derry Hill's Ricardo Rosales proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Derry Hill from getting a goal against them. Selvin Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Félix Calderon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Félix Calderon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shawn Bentos during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Shawn Bentos hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match.

In the 52nd minute Franklin Rosales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Rosales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 52 minutes into the game, Christian Cetino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Derry Hill's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pondersbridge the free kick. Ricardo Rosales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Guerrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Wilber Molina's late challenge caught a Pondersbridge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilber Molina helped the player get up and apologised. Guillermo Guerrero scored 1-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Rosales, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Selvin Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Félix Calderon in the 92nd minute of the match. Selvin Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Félix Calderon, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Pondersbridge were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Derry Hill for a fine match.
