Spectators: 7280 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 100) New Ash Green United's Marcos Palencia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Escudo de Sobieski's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Palencia came free, but Alexander Ortiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giovani García came free with the goalkeeper in the 5th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and David Santamaria could save by the left post. David Santamaria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Antonio Galeas came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the New Ash Green United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Galeas couldn't finish the play. Alexander Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Palencia in the 17th minute of play. Jhonnatan Lovo charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jhonnatan Lovo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Escudo de Sobieski got a freekick which was hit by Jhonnatan Lovo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Galeas in the 27th minute of play forced Escudo de Sobieski's goalkeeper Alexander Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Palencia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Galeas in the 33rd minute of play forced Escudo de Sobieski's goalkeeper Alexander Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Adolfo Orobio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Antonio Galeas managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Ash Green United's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Galeas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Ortiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 39 minutes of play Escudo de Sobieski's Jhonnatan Lovo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jhonnatan Lovo hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Alexander Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Palencia, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Escudo de Sobieski's Giovani García sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Santamaria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half New Ash Green United were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giovani García to make the kick off. David Santamaria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovani García in the 53rd minute of play. Escudo de Sobieski's Alexander Ortiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Palencia in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Rene Duarte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Escudo de Sobieski's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Ash Green United the free kick. With a little luck, Escudo de Sobieski's Alexander Ortiz got control of the ball when Antonio Galeas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexander Ortiz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Antonio Galeas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 59 minute of play. The supporters of New Ash Green United booed when Escudo de Sobieski was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Ancheta didn't get a good kick on the ball. New Ash Green United were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Escudo de Sobieski's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rolando Ramos took the corner. Rolando Ramos made a great header on New Ash Green United's corner, it was just that Escudo de Sobieski's Alexander Ortiz managed to reach the ball for a save. A hard shot 65 in the game by Felipe Espindola from a close distance when the talented Alexander Ortiz managed to make a qualified save. Escudo de Sobieski's players were relieved. Marcos Palencia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Santamaria came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Escudo de Sobieski's Giovani García. But to his dismay, Giovani García quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 74 minutes, Adolfo Orobio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Escudo de Sobieski and the New Ash Green United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th minute, Adolfo Orobio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexander Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Palencia in the 75th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Escudo de Sobieski's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Palencia came free, but Alexander Ortiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Escudo de Sobieski's Alexander Ortiz got control of the ball when Antonio Galeas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute, Marcos Palencia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alexander Ortiz. The goal made the score 1-3. In the 95th minute Marcos Palencia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Escudo de Sobieski's Alexander Ortiz got control of the ball when Antonio Galeas tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. New Ash Green United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
