Spectators: 6789 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1789, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marcos Palencia kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Palencia in the 4th minute of play forced Derry Hill's goalkeeper Ricardo Rosales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Derry Hill's Ricardo Rosales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Galeas in the 7th minute of play. Januario Melendez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but David Santamaria made a huge save. Januario Melendez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Félix Calderon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Derry Hill's supporters rose to their feet, but Félix Calderon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Santamaria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Palencia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Rosales read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Januario Melendez had several of the New Ash Green United's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 26 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed David Santamaria as he didn't even see the shot coming. Derry Hill's Ricardo Rosales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Palencia in the 29th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Antonio Galeas managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Ash Green United's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Galeas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Rosales breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christian Cetino hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 37th match minute, New Ash Green United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Erazo to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute Marcos Palencia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Rosales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Palencia might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Rosales. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcos Palencia ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Marcos Palencia put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ricardo Rosales. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Félix Calderon made the kick off in the second half. David Santamaria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Januario Melendez in the 52nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Palencia in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Rosales saved Derry Hill from getting behind. In the 61st minute, Antonio Galeas made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Rosales. Derry Hill's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Félix Calderon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Santamaria having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Félix Calderon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Santamaria. New Ash Green United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Félix Calderon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 72nd minute Marcos Palencia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Rosales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Galeas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Ricardo Rosales made a huge save. The supporters of New Ash Green United booed when Derry Hill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Cetino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Rosales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Palencia in the 76th minute of the match. Marcos Palencia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ricardo Rosales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Galeas got free with Ricardo Rosales in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Derry Hill's Félix Calderon in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in New Ash Green United's zone, Félix Calderon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Santamaria came out of the goal and Félix Calderon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Januario Melendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
