Spectators: 6792 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1792, VIP seats: 0) Caistor's Avilio Giron started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Rothley's Ernesto Corpeño got a free kick in the 3rd minute. If Rene Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shawn Suarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Olmedo having to interfere. When Avilio Giron came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Caistor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Avilio Giron couldn't finish the play. Rene Martinez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudy Montes having to interfere. Rene Martinez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Rudy Montes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rudy Montes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avilio Giron, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Avilio Giron struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Rudy Montes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caistor. A collision led to Rothley getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Rudy Medina hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Rothley's goal looked a bit too open when Avilio Giron came free, but Rudy Montes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Martinez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Avilio Giron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudy Montes having to interfere. Felipe Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rudy Montes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avilio Giron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Shawn Suarez made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Rudy Medina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rothley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rudy Medina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rothley! If Avilio Giron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Rothley's Rudy Montes got control of the ball when Rene Martinez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Caistor's goal looked a bit too open when Shawn Suarez came free, but Danilo Olmedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Manuel Alvarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Lovo, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Avilio Giron came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Caistor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Avilio Giron couldn't finish the play. Shawn Suarez got in the 80th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Danilo Olmedo handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 82 minutes into the game, Caistor's Rene Martinez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rudy Montes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 88 minutes into the match, Caistor's goal looked a bit too open when Shawn Suarez came free, but Danilo Olmedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Rothley booed when Caistor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 played minutes Caistor got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Salinas. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Avilio Giron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caistor's supporters rose to their feet, but Avilio Giron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rudy Montes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Caistor had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
