Abraham Alferez kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Elias Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteban Moreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yasir Torres went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Shireoaks FC's zone, Elias Messias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban Moreira came out of the goal and Elias Messias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Elias Messias came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Club Deportivo Olimpia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Messias couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yasir Torres in the 28th minute of play forced Shireoaks FC's goalkeeper Esteban Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elias Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Camilo Bentos made a precise shot to the right of Esteban Moreira. Shireoaks FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 38th minute, Yasir Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Messias in the 40th minute of play forced Shireoaks FC's goalkeeper Esteban Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Deportivo Olimpia's Yasir Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Pablo Alas fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportivo Olimpia's protests and gave Pablo Alas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Olimpia's Pablo Alas got a free kick in the 78th minute. Esteban Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yasir Torres in the 80th minute of the match. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
