Claudio Coria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Menjivar in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Olimpia Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Cruz came free, but Rony Guevara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Franklin Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rony Guevara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Vinosis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Claudio Coria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Menjivar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Coria having to interfere. Olimpia Fc's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
