After some careless play in the Revelación defense, Pedro Cetino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Mendez. The Revelación fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Mendez should have stopped the shot. Camilo Mendez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erick Villanueva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrés Palma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aslan FC's Edgar Medrano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Paredes in the 39th minute of play. If Andrés Palma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrés Palma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Medrano having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erick Villanueva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Revelación was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Hernández to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Cetino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Mendez having to interfere. If Pedro Cetino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Posadas kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Erick Villanueva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. A hard shot by Ruben Velis from long distance, 76 minutes into the match, got Edgar Medrano's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Andrés Palma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Revelación's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrés Palma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Medrano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Camilo Mendez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erick Villanueva in the 91st minute of the match.
