Azerbaiyan's Alexander Zapata got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the game, Benjamín Palma was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galaxia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Azerbaiyan the free kick. Enrique Fernandez had in the 83rdth minute some difficulties stopping Hugo Rosales's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Hugo Rosales scored 2-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enrique Fernandez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 87 minutes into the match, Azerbaiyan's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Braun came free, but Miguel Rico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hector Braun came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Galaxia FC fans jumped to their feet. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Azerbaiyan fans cheered their team off the field, for while Galaxia FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
