After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Hector Braun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galaxia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Braun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th minute, Daniel Collado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Yasir Torres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrique Fernandez was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Enrique Fernandez made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Elias Messias sent off a good shot on target. Camilo Bentos kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 24thth minute of the game Hector Braun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportivo Olimpia's Marcos Ribeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hector Braun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Marcos Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Yasir Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo Olimpia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yasir Torres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute, Emiliano Orobio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omar Palma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Omar Palma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

51 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Olimpia's Abraham Alferez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrique Fernandez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yasir Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Fernandez having to interfere. Enrique Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Messias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Galaxia FC's zone, Yasir Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Fernandez came out of the goal and Yasir Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Ramon Alvarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th match minute, Galaxia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Ochoa to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Galaxia FC's Hector Braun got a free kick in the 64th minute. After 78 minutes, Humberto Ochoa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galaxia FC and the Club Deportivo Olimpia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Galaxia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Ochoa to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Club Deportivo Olimpia's Libardo Umaña tried to score from far away in the 80th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Galaxia FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Humberto Ochoa hit a great ball. With a little luck, Club Deportivo Olimpia's Marcos Ribeiro got control of the ball when Omar Palma tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henry Flores hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Enrique Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yasir Torres in the 91st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Olimpia's zone, Omar Palma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Ribeiro came out of the goal and Omar Palma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Galaxia FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
