Seating: 1839, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Henry Galdamez started the match with the kick off. The supporters of South Woodham Ferrers FC booed when Wetherby FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Verdugo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute of the match Emerson Madariaga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudio Coria showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Juan Liborio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Coria having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Henry Galdamez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Woodham Ferrers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Galdamez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Waldir Arango received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rudy Espindola came out and tried to block the shot, but Waldir Arango slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Jorge Coria sped through South Woodham Ferrers FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rudy Espindola. Juan Liborio struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Claudio Coria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for South Woodham Ferrers FC. In the 26th minute, Jorge Coria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rudy Espindola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Cruz in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, South Woodham Ferrers FC's goalkeeper Rudy Espindola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Coria. If Jorge Coria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Franklin Cruz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rudy Espindola was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Juan Liborio managed to get in a good position for a shot. South Woodham Ferrers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Liborio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Coria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan Liborio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Juan Liborio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franklin Cruz made a kick off. When Wetherby FC's Franklin Cruz in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye South Woodham Ferrers FC's goalie prevented a goal. Rudy Espindola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Cruz in the 56th minute of play. The referee ignored South Woodham Ferrers FC's protests and gave Fidel Medrano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Wetherby FC booed when South Woodham Ferrers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Medrano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th match minute, Wetherby FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Arango to maneuver through the defense. Waldir Arango kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Henry Galdamez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudio Coria was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Henry Galdamez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudio Coria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Franklin Cruz notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of South Woodham Ferrers FC's Rudy Espindola. Rudy Espindola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rudy Espindola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franklin Cruz's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Rudy Espindola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franklin Cruz in the 77th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Wetherby FC's Jorge Coria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rudy Espindola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When Benji Collado fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wetherby FC's protests and gave Benji Collado a yellow card for diving instead. Franklin Cruz struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Rudy Espindola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wetherby FC. Benji Collado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rudy Espindola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Jorge Coria notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of South Woodham Ferrers FC's Rudy Espindola. Rudy Espindola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wetherby FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of South Woodham Ferrers FC for a fine match.
