After having played for 11 minutes, Henry Galdamez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Woodham Ferrers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Galdamez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Waldir Arango received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rudy Espindola came out and tried to block the shot, but Waldir Arango slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Jorge Coria sped through South Woodham Ferrers FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rudy Espindola. Juan Liborio struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Claudio Coria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for South Woodham Ferrers FC. In the 26th minute, Jorge Coria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rudy Espindola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Cruz in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, South Woodham Ferrers FC's goalkeeper Rudy Espindola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Coria. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franklin Cruz made a kick off.
