Angel Ramirez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wem. Arturo Toledano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Ramirez having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Lorenzo Arango managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beaconsfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Arango was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marvin Zelaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marvin Zelaya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Max Dubon in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, Wem's Edgar Flores got a free kick in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Beaconsfield's Nelson Bustamante broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. When Max Dubon came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Beaconsfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Max Dubon couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, Max Dubon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marvin Zelaya. Wem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Max Dubon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 48 minutes into the game, Max Dubon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Marvin Zelaya was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The wind increased when Arturo Toledano made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Wem defense, Nelson Melendez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marvin Zelaya. The Wem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marvin Zelaya should have stopped the shot. In the 61stth minute of the game Max Dubon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wem's Marvin Zelaya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arturo Toledano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Angel Ramirez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th of the match, Arturo Toledano tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Angel Ramirez got in the way and made a wonderful save. Beaconsfield's Angel Ramirez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Toledano in the 79th minute of play. Hugo Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Max Dubon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 84 minutes, Lorenzo Arango managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beaconsfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Arango was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Dubon in the 86th minute of play forced Wem's goalkeeper Marvin Zelaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lorenzo Arango had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marvin Zelaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Dubon in the 90th minute of the match. After 90 minutes, Misael Ocampo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wem and the Beaconsfield players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Wem's Misael Ocampo got a free kick in the 91st minute. Max Dubon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute.
