The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Redruth City:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ateos Unidos:s goal. If Agustin Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 played minutes Redruth City got a freekick which was hit by Misael Hidalgo. Redruth City's Max Santana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Redruth City from getting a goal against them. Max Santana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustin Pinho in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute Ateos Unidos were awarded a corner. Sarbelio Lara went to the cornerflag to take it. Lorenzo Moreno made a great header on Ateos Unidos's corner, it was just that Redruth City's Max Santana managed to reach the ball for a save. 33 minutes into the match, Alberto Sifon notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ateos Unidos's Josue Nunes. Josue Nunes made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Baltazar Vasquez sent off a good shot on target. Ateos Unidos's Josue Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Sifon in the 59th minute of play. Baltazar Vasquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Josue Nunes made a huge save. Max Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Pinho in the 61st minute of the match. Ateos Unidos's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alberto Sifon 63 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. In the 67th minute, Oswaldo Coria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes in the game, Alberto Sifon fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Josue Nunes having to interfere. Ricardo Orozco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Santana having to interfere. Ateos Unidos's Agustin Pinho got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Alberto Sifon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Josue Nunes, 0-4. Josue Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Sifon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Orozco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Redruth City had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
