Mauro Bautista scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Max Santana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Redruth City's Max Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Villalobos in the 15th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Claudio Villalobos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Olimpia's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Villalobos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max Santana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Club Olimpia booed when Redruth City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raúl Murgas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaac Gomez, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 44th minute Mauro Bautista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauro Bautista made a kick off. Redruth City's Max Santana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Redruth City from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Olimpia's Mauro Bautista slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Max Santana. That made the score 1-2 after 90 minutes of play. Luis Zepeda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Olimpia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
