Dagoberto Sifon might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Salvador Zapata. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dagoberto Sifon ran back to his position shaking his head. Ovidio Portillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Rey went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Hector Cerritos struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Ovidio Portillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harlesden. Salvador Zapata was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Dagoberto Sifon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dagoberto Sifon really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dagoberto Sifon in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salvador Zapata saved Harlesden from getting behind.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector Cerritos made a kick off. Bowburn's Ovidio Portillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Bowburn from getting a goal against them. When Jonathan Toledano fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bowburn's protests and gave Jonathan Toledano a yellow card for diving instead. Jonathan Toledano hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Enrique Morales could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Ovidio Portillo made a huge save. If Dagoberto Sifon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Selvin Pedrozo in the 73rd minute of play forced Harlesden's goalkeeper Salvador Zapata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
