If Baltazar Vasquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 23 minutes, Arnoldo Del Cid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wembley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Del Cid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Arnoldo Del Cid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Wembley fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Wembley's Arnoldo Del Cid looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Wembley's Hector Melendez in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Josue Quijada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Alberto Sifon made the kick off in the second half. Mariano Ancheta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Sifon in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Wembley's goal looked a bit too open when Baltazar Vasquez came free, but Mariano Ancheta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Redruth City's Baltazar Vasquez got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baltazar Vasquez struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Mariano Ancheta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Redruth City. Max Santana was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wembley's Arnoldo Del Cid got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Wembley booed when Redruth City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Sosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hector Melendez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Baltazar Vasquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Redruth City's Baltazar Vasquez in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
