Paolo Alvarado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Prado got free with Zelvin Bustamante in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wrex Phoenix's Franklin Monzon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Villarreal in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Wrex Phoenix's Baltazar Messias got a free kick in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Wrex Phoenix's goal looked a bit too open when Yasir Zepeda came free, but Franklin Monzon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hampton in Arden FC's Zelvin Bustamante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Alvarado in the 22nd minute of play. Paolo Alvarado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zelvin Bustamante having to interfere. Zelvin Bustamante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Prado in the 35th minute. The audience was convinced that Paolo Alvarado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zelvin Bustamante was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Paolo Alvarado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zelvin Bustamante having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yasir Zepeda to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Abraham Prado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zelvin Bustamante was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After 56 minutes, Enrique Carrillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wrex Phoenix and the Hampton in Arden FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Hampton in Arden FC booed when Wrex Phoenix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Carrillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franklin Monzon was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Yasir Zepeda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yasir Zepeda really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Franklin Monzon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yasir Zepeda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yasir Zepeda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 72 minutes, Paolo Alvarado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wrex Phoenix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Alvarado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 75 played minutes Wrex Phoenix got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Quintanilla. Misael Pineda took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zelvin Bustamante. Hampton in Arden FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Prado in the 83rd minute of play forced Hampton in Arden FC's goalkeeper Zelvin Bustamante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abraham Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zelvin Bustamante having to interfere. The supporters of Wrex Phoenix booed when Hampton in Arden FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rony Salinas didn't get a good kick on the ball.
