Edwin Sandoval came out of the goal and Arnoldo Lozano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute Arnoldo Lozano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Sandoval saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnoldo Lozano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Edwin Sandoval made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Arnoldo Hernández's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexis Gallegos was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. In the 28th match minute, Biggleswade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Cetino to maneuver through the defense. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roberto Madariaga was the one to do the kick off. Alexis Gallegos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josue Madariaga in the 52nd minute of play. After 56 minutes, Arnoldo Lozano made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Resistencia FC.com's Edwin Sandoval tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Resistencia FC.com's zone, Marcelo Pedrozo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edwin Sandoval came out of the goal and Marcelo Pedrozo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rene Cetino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnoldo Hernández received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Alexis Gallegos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Arnoldo Hernández left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Resistencia FC.com fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 74 minutes into the match, Biggleswade's Arnoldo Lozano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edwin Sandoval narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edwin Sandoval took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Cetino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Madariaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexis Gallegos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Resistencia FC.com walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
