Wrex Phoenix's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Prado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The supporters of Biggleswade booed when Wrex Phoenix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltazar Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnoldo Lozano in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franklin Monzon saved Wrex Phoenix from getting behind. William Umanzor kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Wrex Phoenix's Ronald Baptista tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Prado got free with Alexis Gallegos in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paolo Alvarado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Alexis Gallegos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giovani Bustamante hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. A collision led to Biggleswade getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Emerson Ancheta hit a great ball. When Paolo Alvarado came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Wrex Phoenix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paolo Alvarado couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Biggleswade's zone, Paolo Alvarado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexis Gallegos came out of the goal and Paolo Alvarado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wrex Phoenix's Franklin Monzon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Wrex Phoenix from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Prado in the 90th minute of play forced Biggleswade's goalkeeper Alexis Gallegos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
