Edwin Sandoval came out of the goal and Jaime Hernández tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francisco Cetino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jaime Hernández had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Roberto Madariaga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Resistencia FC.com booed when Darfield FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Mendez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darfield FC's Ovidio Posadas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Darfield FC from getting a goal against them. Edwin Sandoval took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Cetino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mariano Morales during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Darfield FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Morales to maneuver through the defense. Arnoldo Hernández recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 98th minute by Arnoldo Hernández got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Resistencia FC.com had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
