The supporters of Atletico Portuario booed when FESI MASIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Januario Costas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Huezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Will Cetino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shawn Padilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will Cetino having to interfere. If Julio Carballo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Atletico Portuario's Ovidio Alfaro got control of the ball when Gabriel Rojas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ovidio Alfaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Januario Costas in the 53rd minute of the match. Elias Morales blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Will Cetino having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shawn Padilla got free with Will Cetino in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Will Cetino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Carballo in the 60th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes FESI MASIA got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Batres. In the 63rd minute, FESI MASIA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Julio Carballo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Julio Carballo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Januario Costas in the 95th minute of play forced Atletico Portuario's goalkeeper Ovidio Alfaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Atletico Portuario could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FESI MASIA throughout the match.
