After 26 played minutes Holmer Green got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Lovo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emiliano Villanueva during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Efrain Hernández took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Arango, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Mauro Arango managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baldock FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Arango was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldock FC played a much better game than Holmer Green and deserved their victory. The Holmer Green players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
