Spectators: 7070 (Terracing: 5150, Seating: 1855, VIP seats: 65) Diego Ramirez started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alonso Bentos in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilmer Rico saved Cleveleys from getting behind. Rafael Renderos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Wilmer Rico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrés Pacheco hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Wilmer Rico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonso Bentos in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Ramirez in the 20th minute of play forced FC BARCELONA's goalkeeper Paolo Rivera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Renderos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rafael Renderos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC BARCELONA booed when Cleveleys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Victorino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cleveleys's Wilmer Rico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Renderos in the 31st minute of play. Jonathan Victorino hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Félix Alvarez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilmer Rico showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 36th minute of the match Rony Guerra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilmer Rico skillfully saved the ball. Alonso Bentos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilmer Rico having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Cleveleys's Esteban Muñoz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paolo Rivera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alonso Bentos to strike the kick off in the second half. Wilmer Rico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonso Bentos in the 52nd minute of the match. Paolo Rivera came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Cleveleys's Diego Ramirez. But to his dismay, Diego Ramirez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Manuel Barrera hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Cleveleys's Jairo Guzman couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC BARCELONA. When Esteban Muñoz came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Cleveleys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Muñoz couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute, Odir Alas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Renderos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilmer Rico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonso Bentos, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The Cleveleys players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
