Spectators: 6841 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Januario Botello got the match started through his kick off. After 6 played minutes Futbol Club Astros got a freekick which was hit by Dennys Renderos. Alfredo Velis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 7th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Enrique Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Januario Botello in the 9th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Holmer Green defense, Pablo Barreto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Efrain Hernández. The Holmer Green fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Efrain Hernández should have stopped the shot. 16 minutes into the game, Januario Botello lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Enrique Alvarenga. Efrain Hernández didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carmelo Barreto went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When Rudy Verdugo fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Futbol Club Astros's protests and gave Rudy Verdugo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Futbol Club Astros's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Januario Botello fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 35 minutes, Yasir Toledano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Futbol Club Astros and the Holmer Green players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yasir Toledano kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Alonso Victorino kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Januario Botello got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 46th minute, Holmer Green's Januario Botello dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

55 minutes into the match, Futbol Club Astros's goal looked a bit too open when Januario Botello came free, but Enrique Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonso Victorino in the 56th minute of the match. If Alonso Victorino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Futbol Club Astros's goal looked a bit too open when Januario Botello came free, but Enrique Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Holmer Green's goalkeeper Efrain Hernández had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pablo Barreto. Enrique Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonso Victorino in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69thth minute of the game Alonso Victorino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Futbol Club Astros's Enrique Alvarenga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enrique Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Januario Botello in the 88th minute of play. Carmelo Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Hernández having to interfere. The supporters of Futbol Club Astros booed when Holmer Green was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josue Del Carmen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Efrain Hernández made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Pablo Barreto sent off a good shot on target. If Pablo Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
