Spectators: 6853 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1853, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Emerson Fernandez made the kick off which started today's match. Antonio Barragan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Quijada, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Wilmer Bentos scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rony Alvarado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Agustin Quijada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Antonio Barragan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nazarenos's Antonio Barragan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josue Talia in the 13th minute of play. Rony Alvarado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emerson Fernandez in the 17th minute of play. Emerson Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the game, Julio Mendez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Felipe Carrera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nazarenos the free kick. In the 30th minute, Josue Talia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Emerson Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Barragan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Quijada in the 48th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agustin Quijada stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miguel Olmedo put his foot forward to block Nazarenos from scoring but unfortunatly he hit the ball so badly that it rolled just inside the left pole, an annoying self made goal. 1-1 in the 53rd matchminute. With his leg Antonio Barragan managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Club Felipe Carrera's Josue Talia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilmer Bentos in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rony Alvarado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Emerson Fernandez came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Nazarenos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emerson Fernandez couldn't finish the play. Agustin Quijada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Barragan having to interfere. If Agustin Quijada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 minutes, Diego Paz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nazarenos and the Club Felipe Carrera players grew even worse after the yellow card. A hard shot by Eraldo Bran from long distance, 82 minutes into the match, got Antonio Barragan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With his leg Antonio Barragan managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Club Felipe Carrera's Josue Talia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilmer Bentos in the 88th minute of play forced Club Felipe Carrera's goalkeeper Rony Alvarado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
