Carmelo Pérez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avilio Peña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Carmelo Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Meza during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Miguel Morales, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 19 minutes of play FC Bayern United's Jose Meza was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 19 played minutes FC Bayern United got a freekick which was hit by Jose Meza. If Miguel Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the game, Avilio Peña was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Bayern United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thanet the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Avilio Peña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 played minutes FC Bayern United got a freekick which was hit by Avilio Peña. An unexpectedly hard shot by Félix Fornos in the 24th minute of play forced FC Bayern United's goalkeeper Mauricio Gomez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bayern United's zone, Miguel Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Gomez came out of the goal and Miguel Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, FC Bayern United's goal looked a bit too open when Félix Fornos came free, but Mauricio Gomez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Félix Fornos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauricio Gomez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Mauricio Gomez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Félix Fornos in the 31st minute of play. In the 31st minute, Avilio Peña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauricio Gomez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Miguel Lara took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauricio Gomez. Mauricio Gomez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Carmelo Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo Rey kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, FC Bayern United's goal looked a bit too open when Félix Fornos came free, but Mauricio Gomez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmelo Duarte was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to FC Bayern United getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Avilio Peña hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Mauricio Gomez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 59 minutes into the match, FC Bayern United's goal looked a bit too open when Félix Fornos came free, but Mauricio Gomez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Carmelo Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the FC Bayern United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmelo Duarte couldn't finish the play. Carmelo Pérez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Duarte in the 62nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Lara got free with Mauricio Gomez in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patricio Melendez hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. A collision led to Thanet getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Yasir Del Carmen hit a great ball. Miguel Lara struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Mauricio Gomez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thanet. A collision led to FC Bayern United getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Armando Coreas hit a great ball. Mauricio Gomez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Lara went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 85th minute, one of FC Bayern United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Bayern United. The goalkeeper, Mauricio Gomez, was totally fooled by Thanet's Miguel Morales, who 86 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 91 minutes into the game, Thanet's Miguel Lara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mauricio Gomez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The Thanet players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
